Mel joined the Hope Haven team in 2021 as Nurse Manager, drawn by the organization’s mission and commitment to the individuals it serves. Mel is passionate about the population she serves at Hope Haven and feels grateful to be part of her individuals’ lives. One of her favorite things at work is making individuals laugh and creating moments that encourage authenticity, joy, and silliness. Outside of work, she enjoys being in nature, baking, reading, writing poetry, playing video games, exploring new cities, giving back to her community, and spending time with friends.
